Jen has been living her signature “light green lifestyle” since early on, for example, taking precious time to recycle the beer cans post party before the ‘rents came home. She co-founded Ideal Bite in 2005 to share her more innovative green lifestyle tips with the masses, and by 2009 Ideal Bite hit 500,000 subscribers. She’s excited to do it again – and this time with video.
Britt Van Deusen
aka "B Van"
Britt met Jen back in college, where they bonded over a love for the Indigo Girls and shaggy-haired, slacker boys. While her taste in music hasn’t changed much, fortunately her taste in men improved. When Britt isn’t squinting at CMYK colors on her ancient Mac, she is mom to two sweet girls, a design blogger and the painter of an occasional oil portrait.
Michelle & Jeremy
aka "The Film Crew"
Michelle and Jeremy Ball are a husband & wife dynamic duo whose passions and mad skills combined to create a break-the-mold visual media agency. They believe in edible gardens, backyard chickens, and using their brains whenever possible to help out Ma’ Earth.
Katie works with the JenB team to turn ideas into videos you can watch. In her spare time you can find her baking just about any recipe she can find on Pinterest and then force-feeding all of her friends the leftovers, “studying” in coffee shops while sipping on vanilla lattes, and trying to convince her cat Dot to cuddle with her against her will.
Pete is Jen’s younger brother, and although she tortured him while growing up, he got back at her when she was in his dental chair and so the score has been settled. Now Pete’s dental practice is going so well that he has time to help his big sissy with JenBTV operations and technology.
Maximo is Jen’s husband who hails from Argentina, and while he used to be known for his modeling and commercial work, he is now getting more work on JenBTV for his comical cameo appearances. Maximo claims he’s more green than Jen, yet Jen claims he buys way less than the average person – not to save the world – but to save a few bucks.
Cuckoo is the chicken in our logo. She stood out from the flock by coming when called and showing signs of true intelligence. After Cuckoo developed a tumor, she became a close member of the family with daily field trips to graze on green grass and bugs, followed by warm baths and special prepared meals. Cuckoo’s adventurous, humorous spirit lives on here.
